Mop

Watching the game tonight, he's well and truely struggling, limping at times.
I don't see anything but benefit by resting him for a few rounds.
Benefit 1: Play Seaby into form
Mark Seaby is playing like, as Big Man puts it, a marshmellow.
He's usually stood up when he's been the #1 ruckman (circa 2006 v Geelong)
The benefits from this are obvious; if Seaby's in form then Cox can rest more, whether that be in parts of game or for whole games.
Benefit 2: Increase potential trade value
With whispers that he wants to head somewhere else to step out of Cox's shadow, playing him into form would be a perfect way to maximise what we get for him.
Benefit 3: Come back potentially in better shape
He's really quite obviously in a lot of discomfort, I mean, he barely trains during the week. Whilst they have said it won't get any worse by playing on, it may feel a bit better if he were to take a few rounds off.
Alternatively, we could let him have surgery early and get him right for next season. This way he'd have a full preseason to prepare himself for 2009 where we'll probably be more competitive.
