Adelaide in Adelaide 3 weeks ago? We lost by a kick, not a bad effort, an honourable loss as Carlton supporters of the past would say! :D

It certainly should restrict Fevs influence, if the skill levels are down, and it gets scrappy. Pears and Dyson both played yesterday, as well as Atkinson, so it looks like Lovett in the only change I think.

We beat Brisbane in the wet back in 2000. :D
Does even things up and our skills will need to be spot on with the wet conditions.
Looking forward to slamming down a few pies and they better be hot!

LMAO, so we are a shoe in then? We are nearly as good as the 2000 side right? :D

I wouldn't say we're a shoe in. We certainly have a chance. ;)

Lovett is an exceptional wet weather player, look out for a big game from him.

Here comes the JUDDY.
But in all seriousness it evens things up enormously.
Fev is shite in the wet and goals are alot harder to come by.
I think one disadvantage for you is that you have a few indigenous boys who may struggle in the wet although i am only making that judgment on the port carlton game a few weeks back.
Hard bodied are usually good in these games so look for big games from Stanton Mcveigh Judd and Bentick.
Blokes like Stevens, jetta, grigg and maybe even lovett will probably be quiet

I wouldn't say so. We have young bodies, have poor skills and focus on attacking which doesn't add up to a great recipe in the wet.
But then again, we were very good against Adelaide in similar conditions and come up against another ordinary side in Carlton
Having Watson, Lonergan, McVeigh and Welsh in the middle gives me confidence coming in to the game. We won last week in greasy conditions (ground was wet at the dome) and we will win this week.

Jetta last game in the one's if he doesn't show anything today. Reckon our midfield will prevail over Carlton in the wet. Would love to go today but have commitments this afternoon and have my last 2 uni exams this week. Plus the weather makes it a shit day for footy

Watson, McVeigh, Welsh, Lonergan and possibly McPhee if he pushes up into the midfield.

Reimers will REIMER everyone, weather not really important.
Seriously though, Watson, Mcphee, Mcveigh, Lonergan and welsh are probably the best.
