Very impressive.
Finally someone else who can kick in our back half, and was linking up superbly with the likes of Wheatley and Green.
Good to see another player coming through after being given a bit of game time. Bode also showed a bit of improvement I thought, harassing well.

You've been backing him for a while BC so good call.
I didn't get to see the game as I don't have Foxtel but is it fair to say that given we played in Canberra it was easier to settle into the seniors? I may be completely off the mark but maybe CJ, and Bode for that matter felt a bit more comfortable playing infront of a relatively smaller, less overawing crowd
i've been a fan of CJ for a while, and todays game is exactly what i've been expecting from him...
good run from the back half, pinpoint with his disposal, suits bailey's game plan down to a tee...
only problem with his game today he went missing a little at times, but when he was in the game he kept racking up touches... keept o'keefe reasonably quiet too...

I was at the game and was very impressed with him, particularly his kicking. Hope today was a catylist for a regular game. I reckon Garland has a bit of Dustin Fletcher about him. Dunn shut down Goodes superbly and PJ was terrific in the forward line. Austin will be there for years to come and Warnock tried hard all day under plenty of pressure from Hall. Whelan was good first up back from injury. Not sure what to make of Frawley. He doesn't take a big mark, not an exceptional kick and gets lost easily. I guess Warnock has taken 3 years to become a regular so there is plenty of time for him. Today was my one game for the year...you guys in Melbourne are spoilt rotten.

overawing crowd? lucky he doesnt play for Collingwood/Adelaide/Essendon etc..we get about 20k to each game if he cant handle playing in front of that many people he shouldnt be playing

Been telling everyone for weeks ths kid should be given a regular spot. Good player at Sandy level, needs time to find his feet at this level and he'll fire up. Good on Bailey for sticking with him.

Bode still makes crucial errors when he has the ball...
