Reported in Beat today (in that column written by Jarvis James up the back of the paper), someone has found some very early demos and recordings by Radiohead.... so early that they were made back when they were called "On a Friday". It seems that they're now available on the net if you want to find them and have a listen.
Thanks Shinners.
I have known this for about a week and depite being a big fan, I don't have too much interest in what they were producing at the time.
Pablo Honey had some shining lights, but it wasn't a great album and the rejects from that would probably be complete crap.
I'd rather download their new songs that they have performed live recently. "I Will" sounds fantastic.
They should have a new album out early next year.
I actually read a few years back, that it was when entitled as "On a Friday", that a number of songs for 'The Bends' were actually first written.
thanks for the tip..
should make for some interesting listening..
managed to find 2 songs so far...
nothing touches me
stop whispering
and.. um, a cover of glen campbell's 'rhinestone cowboy'.. haha.. top stuff..
still downloading...

I actually thought Pablo Honey was a good album - it was just poorly produced/engineered.
Sure some of the songs were average, but the production was worse.
I guess the money just wasn't available to them until "Creep" topped the charts, then EMI forked out plenty of dosh.
