This thread is most likely bs but it is an interesting hypothetical anyway.

1. Would you like to see port make a play for Kosi? He seems to filll a few of our holes (KPF and back up ruck) but is he worth the risk (injuries etc.)

2. What would you be prepared to give up for him?

Personally I would be prepared to give him a crack if we could get him cheap enough. A second round pick or a third rounder/fringe player would be my offer.

Thoughts.

p.s. not saying they would accept it but just what we should offer.

Nup - I've never been impressed by him. He'd make us even more frustrating to watch.

A quality tall player Choco Copperfield can make disappear in the amazing lead up forward illusion. Where do we sign?

I'm no Freud, Ford (deliberate selection of words), but methinks that the past few weeks has brought out just a touch of sarcasm and cynicism in your recent posts.

Maybe a Bex and good lie down might be a good fix for you - it worked for me:D.

you would be looking at a first round draft pick... and its just to much to pay theese days... I would love to give StKilda, Seccond round pick (#23), Daniel Perce and Toby Thurstans, we also give Fremantle our Third round pick, StKilda give Fremantle there seccond round pick , Fremantle give us Josh Carr and StKilda Scott Thornton.

Port
Pick #5
Justin Kossi
Josh Carr
pick #55

StKilda
Pick #10
Pick #23
Pick #44
Pick #60
Toby Thurstans
Daniel Pearce
Scott Thornton

Fremantle
Pick #3
Pick #21
Pick #28
Pick #39
Pick #53

Looking at this I wouldn't mind a midle range pick, but... Josh Carr and Justin Kossie could be the difference between 2007 and 2009, and we still have pick #5... Hopefully Broadbent will slips through to #55...

So Freo get 5 picks for losing 2 players and St Kilda get 4 picks and 3 players for losing 1 player and some picks?

Jesus.

I wouldnt mind Kosi. I think we all know that when fit and firing hes as good as most in the league, just doesnt happen often enough. They would demand a first round pick for him and Im unsure if its wise to give that up.

Freud would say - song = club and brain = team.

I think Ford would say brain = brain right now. ;)

Time to get off the couch and face the day (now why does that make me think of The Angels ... )

Ouch ... my head hurts. What is each club giving up in this merry go round ? (Ie what positions do you think the three clubs will finish) ?

Pretty much Fremantle get three second rounders (rebuilding a club with bad culture) for Josh Carr and Scott Thornton, StKilda get Scott Thornton and Toby Thurstans to cover Matt Maguire and Max Hudgton if they cant get up next year and Daniel Pearce to inject some pace into there rather lethargic midfield, maybe Pearcy cover Harvey's wing next year, if this is his last, and Port get a GOOD Full forward and/or Second runckman a premiership winning in and under onballer to add some MORE mongrel and a bit of strength around the stoppages and keep their early pick...

Fremantle finishing 14th Port finishing 12th Saints finishing 7th...

Yeah sure, I've got the perfect trade:

White+Thurstans+Lonie---> Kosi

Heard that one before??

It scares me what we'd have to give up... get your hands off Boak!

Including Pearce is about the only bit of that, that St. Kilda wouldn't laugh right out at.

Thurstans trade value is about the same as a soggy hanky. We'd never get him. Or not at a suitable price anyway. Not worth a first round pick (or Pearce + 2nd round) whilst always injured. And if overcame his injuries then that wouldn't get him.

If St. Kilda put him on the trading block, someone would be willing to take the risk and pay his 'uninjured' price. I'd be pissed if it was us.

I'd recruit him, has talent & courage

Would just have to work out the right price
