Just watched the final quarter of the game through my AFL.com subscription. Having not seen the game since seeing it live in 2000, I had almost forgotten how sweet the win was.
Ahh the memories; Ingothe commander in defense, Green and Bruce on fire, White killing them in the ruck....
I suggest if your ever really ****ed off with Melbourne, as I have been this week, you get yourself a copy of this game and watch it!

Speaking of which... BT mate, want to help me out with a copy?? Pretty Please?! :D

I have the last quarter on video, plus the highlights from Dynamic Demons.

Every time I see Bruce kick that goal to bring us within three points, it sends a rush right through me! Just Hudson's commentary and the crowd going nuts with Bruce making a fist, it's just awesome to watch!

I have that game on tape as well. I often watch it, as it certainly cheers me up. I still wonder how on earth we won that game. I was tempted to leave at 3/4 time:eek:

I had planned to go that game, but after mum got real sick and was in Melb hospital, I couldn't make it. I was listening to it on the radio on the way home and was shattered at 3/4 time.

And I haven't celebrated a win more half an hour later! :D :D

It only got better in teh first half of the Prelim against the Roos two weeks later - it wa slike they strung the best 3 quaters of football imaginable in a row (last qtr v Blues, first half V rros.

Thay came out in the game again Carey and Co and just tore teh game to pieces in one of the most flawless halves of footbal I've ever witnessed.

If only Neita had of kicked that first goal v the Dons one week later, we may be a happier grouf of Dee worshippers today..if only...
