AS Milne said regarding playing conditions against Coburg it was like playing in the good old days with the wind rain and mud. Maybe thats what the boys need a stint in the VFL to toughen them and make them appreciate ideal conditions under the Telstra dome.

I had the impression that Milne actually enjoyed it - he had more more room, more of the ball and more freedom than he'll ever have in the AFL.
Dal Santo on the other hand did not appear too happy. Well, he is a smooth operator and probably not someone who enjoys having dirt all over his pretty face. And he must have bruises all over his upper body - that Coburg tagger really was quite a feisty little tick who had the time of his life going after an AFL star player (and won that contest, too).
In that case, dropping them will have served its purpose : Milne was fired up and was more than eager to impress and Dal Santo will do anything (even chase and tackle if he has to) in order to avoid playing in such muddy conditions again.
