I believe Smorgan wanting to make Wallace's plans public this week was a smart move. If indeed Wallace has signed with a club it has forced a few to show their hands. Carlton has backed Brittain and there is a backlash happening in Sydney if Roos isn't re appointed. So it has brought the issue to a head and if Wallace's management has done a deal while coaching the Dogs ( and in doing so breached AFL rules) the Dogs are in a good position. He is one smart operator, or that's how I see it.
Clubs are going back into their shells a bit. There is a possibility that Wallace may not have a position next year.
I think he may have been a bit to smart by half and he and his management misread the situation or were made to show their hand.

In particular 2 key Swans sponsors are supporting Roos.

For a man who is "burnt out and tired", a holiday next year may well be on the cards for poor old Terry.

Ha Ha Ha

I knew Smorgo was smart. By making Wallace's intentions public there has been such a public backlash that there has been a settlement in the Doggies favour. He is one smart cookie.
I don't think this is over either.

Do you think Wallace has made a smart move? Me, I don't think he was that silly to leave a job to goto nothing.
Not a lot of talk about the Hawks coaching position.
Schwab was quized about his health last night and looked very tired after the game. Ex Hawk players are critisizing the club too!
