Lewis has a quad strain, early report is 2-3 but will be assessed later obviously

Lewis off, Murphy injured and Crawf in some discomfort too.

Renouf reported too. Ugly night.
On the bright side, hopefully we should regain Bateman, Sewell, Dew, Taylor and I expect Hodge will be right after the week off (he looked great in the last Qtr). Let's hope both Whitecross and Tuck have great games for Box Hill as we need the backup.

The only real concern is is crawf, lewis will be back, hodge and murphy wll be back, croad is ok, and batemen sewell and taylor are all expect back for the swans game..
We must have done something seriously different/wrong in the pre-season to account for all the soft tissue injuries. You'd have to think it would be a miracle for everyone to come good in the last 6 weeks and for the tears to stop...

We've had such a good record, it is strange that suddenly we can't go a week without one coming up.
Quad's don't take as long as hamstrings to get right, so he could be an outside chance for Sydney, but surely we'll be cautious.
I'm more concerned about Crawford with his knee. We really don't want that the flare up again, or it could be a while before he gets back in, because of the type of injury that keeps persisting. We look so so much better with him in the side.
