When they have the Brownlow recap, they will mention a scrappy contest, but the Hawks got the gold.

Possibly the worst 9 goal win I've ever seen. I think we know just how far behind Geelong we are now.
Remember....its a long long season....I'll take the 9 goal win and the points....lets have the break and re-group for Sydney.......

It's not drawing a long bow to compare the respective performances of Hawthorn and Geelong against the Eagles over the last couple of weeks. They're looking like a far better side than us right now.

That was like picking up a hot chick at a nightclub, scoring on the same night and then waking up next to the ugliest bird you could imagine. Got the job done when the lights were off but in reality, a very ordinary effort in the harsh light of day.
Did WC play numbers back against Geelong? I didn't see the game. It seems that everyone is playing a loose man against us recently to try to stop Franklin and we're struggling to find targets inside 50.
At one point we won a turnover and moved it quickly the length of the field, and they still had 7 inside our 50.
