View Full Version : New hard man at Hawks - Clinton Young
Did you see that 2nd quarter hit on Kerr??
(I thought Kerr had been "head-butted" by Young)....
I'm all for keeping Youngy as a chaperone to Hodgey and Co, should they get into strife after that....
ps. Please check that Daniel is ok.
He had to get one eventually.

God he is a frustrating player. His kick across half back that resulted in a Weagles goal just seems to be so typical atm.

Young is not a hard man. Hodge is a hard man.

Young is as hard as a tub full of Mr Whippy soft serve! I have no doubt that he is quite possibly the softest player in the league. I like him but one on one he couldn't beat me blindfolded.

I am one of his biggest knockers, imo he should have been dropped over a month ago for not putting the body on the line.
But, he is slowly turning it around. Don't get me wrong he is far from a hard man as the OP suggests, but i have noticed he is far more willing to put his head over the ball in the contested situations these last few weeks.
Don't give up Gary, there is still work to do but you may convert me yet!

Young is no hard man, but he looked pretty pissed off and determined when he had his second set shot at goal (he missed).
He still has a long way to go, to be considered to be a good tackler.
He must have to streghthen his hands and wrists.
