RAPPER Eminem provided the biggest shock at the MTV Video Music Awards - he was booed after winning the award for best male video for "Without Me".
The tension started when his nemesis, Christina Aguilera, presented him with the award. Aguilera looked like she wanted to drop it on the floor rather than put it in his hand.
Then, Eminem took a pot shot at another one of his favourite targets, techno artist Moby, calling the artist a girl (Moby irritated Eminem last year by criticising his lyrics as misogynist).
Then the boos from the audience at New York City's Radio City Music Hall began.
"Yeah, keep booing," Eminem told the audience, then, appearing to look in Moby's direction, said: "I will hit a man with glasses."
Eminem is one seriously overrated performer.

Agreed.
Although I dont like Rap, so that is probably a biased opinion as I think all rappers are overrated :D

I don't mind rap and I don't mind Eminem.
I just think they (the critics etc.) are clutching at straws trying to make him appear significantly better than he actually is.
Chuck D will always be the benchmark, so far as I'm concerned!

Dr Dre and Snoop are the benchmark!
Eminem is not overrated. He is very talented IMO. Plus he bags NSYNC, Moby, Agulieri, Britney Spears....the man is a genius.

Pfft. Beastie Boys, Chuck D, Run DMC, De La Soul, etc.
I don't rate rap/hip-hop, but these guys pioneered it. Snoop Dog and Dr. Dre just sold it.
