What are everyone's thoughts on Renouf?
Reckon he is a goer and will end up better than these two, has a bit more spring and seems to be more gifted around the ground.
Wouldnt say he is better now, hence the not yet in the thread.
But if he keeps showing a bit, almost tempting to give him a game ahead of one of the other two. Pity he will be rubbed out.
Maybe next year he might cement a spot.

Runs like a Giraffe!!! Decent with his hands, not great by foot... Got some serious hops in the ruck contest.. wont go past Campbell though, Robbie C is a GUN!!!
him and taylor for the 2nd ruck spot though renouf has been very good past 3 games and showed a lot of promise which is good and can win a contested ball

One thing about Renouf is he looks hungry. He'll probably improve markedly with more games, which is a BIG positive for the team. Some of his jumps in the middle made me spit my drink. He seems to get right up there !
Aside from the elbow, and tiring a little towards the end, I thought he made a good account of himself last night for a second gamer, or whatever he is.

Is it Ren-off??

Yes. He confirmed that when he was on the Hawks radio show.

He is gunna be a good player. Only a couple of AFL games and he fits in, will get better.

Would compare him to a young Jamie Charman, but a bit quicker with the same amount of mongrel. Like this bloke one of those players who will improve every game.

I think he has enormous upside potential. Could definitely be better than Tails and Robbie - no mean feat.
It's hard to say with ruckmen though, one small injury can set them back years and years.

He is a great prospect and if he continues on could solve our Full Back/Anti-Gorilla problem!

That is until GC17 come sniffing around. SO if Ren-oFF is reading this, leave your best footy behind for at least the next 2 years.

Yeah, I'm more worried about Whitecross in all honesty.... Voss has already expressed a likening. Perhaps we should get him to write a few articles about himself in the Age and Herald Sun so that Vossy takes an Aker view of him... :D

Will over take Tayler, has a bit of mongrol, I like it, will be a good 2nd ruck to cambell maybe even better with in a couple years, but big robbie bleeds for the hawks you can see it when he plays and you cant be trained in that

Agreed. People forget how long it takes young ruckman, outside those picked with top 5 picks, to develop.
