Thats funny cos the web site says that they have reached a financial settlement. Who's right?
Channel 9 just reporting it now!
Looks liek they have reached a settlement and the Bulldogs may still make a profit this year!
Well done Smorgo!

I think that it will be the actual club or the directors we will sue, and not Terry.
Wheres a decent contract lawyer when you need one?

putting 2+2 together (or website + abc + chops-info) it sounds like we've come to an agreement - TW will cough up 250K to us AND if we find out he was talking to the Swans in the last few weeks we will sue em(the Swans).....
is that right?

Ok According to Brenden Gale-and he has a law degree-the club(Lets say Sydney for the sake of argument) has done nothing wrong in talking to Wallace, but if an agreement has been reached before Wallace quit the Bulldogs then we have a case.
However he says it will be very hard to prove unless there is a signed agreement and if it was a verbal agreement then it will be impossible.
They also mentioned that the club is seeking 250k settlement from Wallace. I dont understand why, can anyone explain?

Plough has to give us a cool 250k :D
Serves him right
And we have left the option open to sue any third party that may have approached Plough while he was contracted to us. Apparently Campbell Rose played a big part in assuring that option was left open along with the settlement from Plough

Unless......
There was a deal made with hyperthetically speaking the Swans.
And Terry's plans unravel and Swans attempt to breach any agreement they may have made with him if they are forced to go for Roos after all.
Then the truth will come out and it won't be pleasant for Wallace or particulary the Swans, morally, legally, financially or in terms of public opinion.
