Who would be in the 40 Man squad considering at least 12 AFL Players involved as well?

As for ruckmen we will need an experienced one from south to help out the likes of Stephensen and Gugliotta.

I dont think so!
The NT will play as a feeder club for the new Gold Coast team when they do play in the AFL but im pretty sure NT will be in the QAFL in 2009!

i always heard they were trying to get a team in the SANFL i hadnt heard anything on them being a feeder club or anything.

SANFL and WAFL options didnt pan out - for now it looks like they will be playing in the QAFL - good timing with the GC team cranking up. May work out nicely or they may look to have another lot of talks with SANFL/WAFL in future.

Apart From 5 Or 6 Bigger Experienced Guys I Reckon Anyone Who Is In Thunder And Doing Well Or Just Out Of Thunder And Is Showing A Bit Of Talent Will Get A Shot,guys Who Show Potential But Not Dedication Wont Get A Call Up.like I Said They Will Get Youngsters From Alice,islands,katherine Etc In And Show Them What Is Required And How Hard To Train And Then Send Them Home.if Nt Put A Side In Safl They Would Get Beat But If They Put A Development Squad In The Safl They Would Get Flogged.this Way They Can Put A Development Squad In Qafl,be Competitive And Give Youngsters A Taste Of The Next Step Where Before Guys Like Matty Stokes And Austin Wonnammerri(?) Of course but will they want to leave a strong comp as in the SANFL to play in the QAFL? Chuck a Peter Rolfe, Corey Ahchee in aswell and who is left? Not many! Those who play in the country still play at home the SANFL boys cant!

Heard Shannon Motlop is back living in Darwin and will play at Wanderers this season, He also is bringing Shane Clayton ex Kangaroos payer and a few North Adelaide boys. Josh Cubillo sending a few Sturt team mates up to Wanderers aswell.
