Will be a heavy track as there has been quite a bit of rain in the last 24 hours. Cold wintry conditions. May suit us in negating Essendons speedsters. I'm rugging up for the first time this year. Good luck all, see you after the game for a (hopefully) celebratory game analysis.

If you weren't a freo supporter for only a few months you would know the history of the free kick when it comes to Fremantle. Until we get a season where compared to most other games we aren't unfairly dealt with we should bitch and moan.

How the hell can Peake be so good a few years ago? He looks like a shell of that player now. Did he just "fluke" those string of games? Good run but his disposal and decision making just awful.
Palmer showing a lot though, like the Palmer/Mayne/Ibbo game so far, but they went missing second half of the 2nd quarter, maybe tired from only having 2 rotations on the bench.
So far, good game by Josh Head, Mayne, Palmer and Pavlich

I didn't say they were robbing us, just that they made mistakes.
That said they surely evened up the ledger with that second quarter effort there. Good work umpires, balance out the bs frees.

They have made just as many bad decisions both ways. Look at the Pav push in the back or a couple of holding the balls that could have been given to them. Or the chopping the arms of Ryder on the boundary line. Plenty there to give each way.

Anyway, we're effectively playing 4 men down cause Peake is useless. Pav is having his worst game of the season, could see that from the outset when he couldnt take an easy mark. He may have 3 goals but two have been rather cheap in terms of he didn't have to do much work to get them.
Crawley, Hayden and Dunn out. Just one fit player on the bench and youngsters are tired. We're gone unless Pav weaves some magic in the last Q.

Crawley with a suspected punctured lung aka 3-5 weeks. The thing about our 3 players injured is they are runners, Essendons is a fullback which they have cover for in the form of Ryder.

in a weird kinda way its not the worst result
they put in a big effort despite having only 1 man on the bench, mayne was awesome, warnock was pretty good, head had a decent debut..
we can safely say that we can delist dunn and peake
i think we found out quite abit today... least of which is that warnock and sandilands can play together
if the dees can string a couple of games together...
