Has to be Essendon, the support today was outstanding.

Congratulations to the WA Bombers for todays turnout. You were a credit to yourselves at Subiaco. The scale of support in WA has been strong for many years and that latent support was clearly evident from our loungrooms in Vic. the players (Mark Mc Veigh on TV post game) appreciated the support and I am sure you made the club proud with your voice and masses. Turnouts of Bomber fans in WA like today confirm Essendon's mass national appeal and is the reason why we are likely to sign major multinationals as major sponsors for record sums..
As the players visited you behind the goals, the commentators all noted the massive turnout and Jackovich confirmed Essendon's superior support in WA. You can't put a $ value on that sort of branding.
Great effort, hope you enjoyed the win, was worth it!

As a born and bred sandgroper who has bled red and black for 25 years its certainly comforting to know how much support they have over here.
Kudos to Jackovic too when whoever was commentating with him suggested that it was amazing how many people had travelled over to see the Bombers. He straight away said something along the lines of I think you'll find that most of those supporters live in Perth.
There's also always been such a large contingency of WA born and bred players for the Dons that I've always had a nice little comeback for those WA people that like to call me a traitor for supporting a Victorian club. :)
Just wish I could have been at the game yesterday instead of at work. I only ever seem to get to games at Subi when we get flogged.. except for that practise match last year against the eagles where we won by 8 or 9 goals. Who cares if it didn't count for anything. It only cost me $11 to see us flog the eagles. I'll take it. :thumbsu::D

Well done to all of the WA fans.:thumbsu:
Spike was right - we are the best fans in the league. We could play a game anywhere, and draw a great crowd.

Yep, would just like to echo the comments in this thread. I couldn't watch the game but was listening to it on the radio. Hearing the Bomber fans in the background cheering, whistling and screaming was fantastic. Well done. :thumbsu::)
No doubt, I would sugest they have the biggest following out of the non local clubs.
I know several people who are WA members.
A lot of respect here for the Dons.

I remember an interview Connolly did when he first became coach of Freo and he was absolutely frothing at the mouth at the amount of supporters Essendon drew in Perth. " It`s a disgrace" Classic stuff from Cuddles.
