When was our last win when we gave away over a 5 goal start. If there are none what about the biggest comeback. I thought this was going to be another game eg Port over there, where we give a side a 3 or 4 goal start and lose by about the same. Hopefully this galvanizes the side for the last 8 weeks and shows Lyon we are better playing a bit more attacking footy as at quarter time on Sat night i was saying i wont bother going to watch another game this year as it was so boring. Now i cant wait to the Carlton game hoping we play 4 quarters of attacking footy.

Have no idea but i hope Saturday's win nails the idea into the head that they are never out of a contest, No matter how big the margin is. That was one of our biggest problems at the club, lets hope it's not now. :thumbsu:

Apparently our biggest comeback was Round 13, 1962 against Sth Melbourne.
Down by 6 goals at 3/4 time, to win by 17 points (kicked 8 goals to zip in the last). Not too shabby.

At quarter time on Saturday night, I wasn't too concerned. Actually thought we were in the contest although it wasn't reflected on the scoreboard. 33 points down at half time, I would have been worried. We rarely come back from there.

To kick 80 points in three quarters isn't a bad effort.

Have seen us give away far more games after leading at quarter time than fight back and snatch victory.

We got jumped by the Crows last year by at least 4 goals, but before that it was the days of Brett Moyle in 2001 when we were down by at least 4 goals (Barry Hall kicking the winner before _ucking off).

I can't believe nobody remembers this one

1994 (i think), against sydney @ SCG... 50-odd points down at 3 quarter time.. Swans might have even kicked the 1st goal of the last quarter... Plugger turns it on and we win by a point

You tube it, freaking amazing comeback. one of the biggest and best by anyone, ever.

You can't quite pick it up, but when the other gun fat barstard (Dean Greig) gives to Plugger in the goalsquare he drills a low torp to take out a few grey-hairs who had been gobbing him off. They knew what was coming as most of them ducked behind the fence before he had kicked it!!!

I remember this one :thumbsu:
turned off the tv in disgust at 3qtr time (went to drown my sorrows at the milk bar) ... then saw we won ..... have never, ever stopped watching before the end of a game since.

Mothers' day from memory. PLugger's last game against the Swans. I think it was also the game where he almost killed the Swans fans behind the goals by kicking a torp at them from about 3 metres.
