In the aftermath of the game yesterday, in the Freo rooms they showed a young player who I didn't recognise eating lolly snakes & drinking apple juice - one of the younger Freo boys diabetic by any chance?

Not that I'm aware of. It's glucose to get their sugar levels back up. The young guys in particular would have been out on their feet due to not getting a rest after half time.

Could have been Thornton.
He has a lot of problems.
Not being able to play is just one of them.

OK, thx for that - they're both classic treatements for hypoglycemia so thought he might be, but it may just be a glucose fix as you say.
just a method to replace spent glucose, I do the same every weekend before the game, half time and afterwards. Mind you could be just an in my mind thing.:)

It was Palmer, with a shitty look on his face (which is ok since we lost, better than some games in the past where freo players are laughing and discussing stock tips).
How can you not know what the best young player this year looks like?

I've seen it a number of times by a number of players throughout the year. Chris Tarrant last week.
