I wouldn't think so. Harvey is currently fifth in my B&F and Hudghton ninth.

I think Bigfooty voting (the award the players cherish) won't be too far off the mark.
Youd have to say Roo for the B&F again wouldnt ya. By a longshot.

Lenny would have to be up there.

It depends whether or not whoever votes on it are good at recognising a backmans performance. Max for instance had his second best game of the year (first being his massacre of Lloyd) and was clearly 2nd best on ground against the Kangaroos, yet is constantly overlooked for votes here, on saintsational, in the papers etc.

Surely not. Between round 2 and round 12 Riewoldt was poor.
Lenny Hayes would be a mile ahead at this stage I reckon, it'll take a string of good performances by Ball, Max etc. to take it off him.

Hayes woulda been winning it easily up till he got injured.
Funny how Roo gets on his bike when Lenny went down.
Gonna be tight.

It is easy to look at the stats at the end of the game and determine if Lenny or Nick had a good game. With the defenders their game performance is inversely related to the other teams stats, not so easy to look up in a hurry if you haven't been paying attention.
I think Max has had one of his best seasons for years, and also Sam Fisher seems to play very well every week.
But for me Lenny is the man so far this year.

The BigFooty votes have Hayes, Riewoldt, Harvey, Ball, Fisher and Hudghton all up there, so defenders aren't disregarded by those who are watching the games closely.
It will be out of these players;
Hayes
Ball
Riewoldt
S. Fisher
Hayes would likely have been clear leader before missing a game and 3/4. The way the voting works (top 10 players get voted on, I believe), If you miss more than a few games you are unlikely to win the B&F.
Jason Blake set for another top 10 B&F finish, too.
Yeah your right I forgot about Hayes. Must of been cause he was out last week. lol Hayes by a mile

yep, Lenny over Riewoldt.... although Riewoldt has played pretty well the past few weeks.

Yeah riewoldt could easily overtake him, i think he tends to stand out more taking 15 marks a game, running all over the ground and kicking a couple of goals. That's not to say Lenny doesn't stand out of course!

Thanks Kildonan. I was shown this website this morning by a mate at work, and its great to be actually have discussion about our beloved saints and football in general, without listening to the collingwood supporters :)
