not allowed to bumpYes you are. Mate, it's only a couple of weeks old. In the limbo club, people bump 6 year old threads without getting in trouble.
You are not allowed to bump if you are doing it just to be a smart arse.
Bumping this sort of thing is no problem.

Bradman's Test 4th highest score would be 270

question - how could it not be 279?
At stumps on Day 2 India were 92/8. Bowled out for 99. New Zealand were then bowled out for 94. India replied with 154 and New Zealand went in at stumps at 24/0.
Surely that is 279.
have you thrown us a wobbly?
according to the laws of cricket, the first days play is when the first ball is bowled in the match. Because Day 1 was washed out and no play was possible, Day 2 essentially became Day 1. Day 3 was Day 2 and Day 4 was Day 3.
If you are going by that scenario - which is essentially the way it should be: on the 3rd days play of the Test Match in Hamilton there were 136 runs scored. Which wrapped up the test match for New Zealand.
So the answer is either 279 (on Day 3) or 136 (the 3rd days play - which was actually Day 4)

I looked up this question in a book and have found that they added it up wrong(they said284)
Just checked it up on cricinfo and it says 279, so 279 it is:thumbsu:
