I'll be there - usually a good night. Plenty of food - but it is the standard you would expect to feed 2000. Players are always there and booze is on the house.

I may attend, depending some work commitments.

Sure it would be a great night, great location, plenty of good food and kicking back with the players

I'm sure that our coaching staff would have prepared for this to ensure that our players remain at peak fitness

Well done to TW and the RFC for arranging this event and giving something back to the members along with ensuring the players stay in top shape :thumbsu:

Actually the players tend to be quite reluctant to talk - if you don't go and sound them out don't expect to talk to any. Maybe it is because we have a young list but with the exception of Richo, who will talk to anyone the others tend to just stand around in groups of 3 and 4 and talk amongst themselves. So my advice is if you are going and want to talk to players don't be a shrinking violet.

Well done to the designers of Crown palladium for building the room big enough for players to hide amongst the crowd :thumbsu:

maybe the coaching staff can take what we learn from the preparation for a cocktail party onto the field.

Well done to TW and the RFC coaching staff on re inventing the formula for reaching peak fitness. When the whole world looks at reaching peak fitness to perform at the optimum level on the ground in a game, the geniouses at rfc, know all to well, that to do that you first need to be able to run out a cocktail party. ;)

I'll be there. Look out for me. I'll be the one with the richmond tie on.

If we lose to the bombers this week there could be a few blokes there wearing suspicious long black trench coats hanging around!!!

Should be a good night - I'm trying to get some time off to be there.

It's fantastic that the club has put this on for it's loyal followers and supporters, gives us a chance to give the players the much needed praise they fully deserve.

I'm sure that our players will also be looking forward to talking with their fans, whilist demonstrating their exlampary behaviour.

Well done to the RFC for putting on this event, and making Richmond a true example of being a "people's club" :thumbsu:

its surprisingly ok....the food is good and plentiful and the grog flows although you need to conjure up a plan to have someone in the line at any given time. ;)

Nah - if they have the food tables in the + formation like previous years just jump over to the table that has less people on it.

Then don't stray more than 20 metres from the booze stations.

Peruse the silent auction tables - not buying anything, amaze at how some people have so much dough that they pay silly amounbts for the non silent auction.

Perve at the girls who get really dolled up in the hope of catching a players eye.

Talk some shit to a player or two and then make the final food run before you leave (can't have it being thrown out now hey).
