Shoving Laycock to the ground and running into goal.
Squaring up at full back against Michael Gardner many moons ago. They were gonna bitch slap each other.

I like Pav, he's a champ. My favourite moment WILL be when he uses that massive frame to defend our young guns, when they are picked on. He's the Captain.
The year we first made the finals.
Last quarter versus the Roos at the 'G.
Best quarter by a Docker, ever!

Pavs 8? goals in a half against Adelaide definately my favourite moment. We were getting killed in the first half, and then suddenly guys like hase started winning the clearances.. and Pav was absolutely on fire. Everything even in the area of Pav he was dragging down and then kicking truly. He kicked an absolute screamer in the pocket, and we ended up finishing 6 points short.
When he re signed his latest contract.:thumbsu:
My favourite moment? Probably his last quarter performance againt North in 2003. However he is such a champ and an upstanding bloke, and can given me so much enjoyment over the years that It would be remiss of me to single out one. However there was one moment from this year that typified him; that goal from the centre square agsint the Demons. Magic stuff. :)
This is from his coach at Sacred Heart in Adelaide, from an Age article about Andrew Mackie, who coached Pav in his HSC Year, talking about coaching him:
"I learnt nothing about coaching — kick with the breeze, he's up forward; kick into it, he's up back; can't get it out of the middle, put him in the guts."
Nothing much has changed really.

So many I always love his goals running from the midfield clearance eg. against Melbourne in 2008. His goal against Essendon when he kicked it over his head and ran into goals collected a handball from Tarrent and kicked a spinning goal. His Best performance was probably 8 goals in a half against Adelaide. However when I look back at Pav's career I will remember how consistent he was always kicking 3-4 goals even when the ball rarely came into the forward 50 and for being a athletic freak eg. pushing Shoving Laycock to the ground with one hand with ease and running into an open goal.

I was at the match ;) Awesome feeling us coming back only to be beaten.
Last year against Essendon; 6 goals, 16 marks, 30 touches or something plus he kicked his 300th career goal (which I filmed and landed a seat in front of me):D

That was great, but I clearly remember giving up on that game, and ~ slowly ~ coming to the realisation that Pav could win us the game. And then, of course being bitterly disappointed. It was like we lost twice. But somehow it was better that way.
Oh what a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to follow Freo..
