Hey Everyone.

Just a reminder, without the Saints playing this weekend, get down to Williamstown on Sunday for The big one - 1st v 2nd Williamstown v Casey.

Should be a cracker of a game.

If you cannot make it the game will be broadcasted on 3XX 1611 AM and on the internet at www.doublex.com.au

Cheers...

Peter (at 1611 AM)

Whilst Peter might be a little pasty-faced and is shocking at applying lipstick he's come through with the goods. :D

I annoyed the shit out of my wife trying to pick up Casey Radio last week, so will be good to have a different station.

It will be interesting to see how Miles goes..

I have a very good "feeling' about this kid.

Interesting to see Armitage playing - trying to get/keep his match fitness up or not playing next week?

Hoping the first option applies, but not sure what the club is thinking.

You're not the only one.

Shame he's not really a kid though, I think he's 22?

Either way, he looks promising.

Does anyone else find it interesting that we seem to be the only club where the players wear different numbers between seniors and VFL? Just noticing that Cameron Wight, Jarrod Harbrow, Callan Ward are all wearing the same numbers they wear when playing for the Dogs. I guess Peter Street is an exception, but I find it unusual.

Hoping the first option applies, but not sure what the club is thinking.

I think this helps explain why Armo spends so little time on the ground in AFL games. they must think that his fitness is not up to scratch. If that's true, he's getting a game basically on pure talent.

Only got 47% TOG vs. Kangaroos so i'd say it's just to keep his fitness up.

What times the game start? 1 or 2?

I'll be listening, maybe provide score updates, but the chances are I'd be talkin to myself lolz.

Aaarrrghhhhhhh indeed. That he's playing in the Caseys at all and Chuck's taking his spot in the Saints forward line is even worse.

That hanger in the Melbourne game... a thing of beauty.

Williamstown 5.5 8.9 11.14 15.21 (111)
Casey Scorpions 4.0 8.4 10.10 14.11 (95)

quite an effort by Williamstown against the wind in the fourth (4.7), you will have to admit...

There was a news article ( saints.com.au I think ) where they intervied him. He seems to accept that his role for the moment is to relieve the midfield players when they go to interchange.
Probably OK for him at the moment. :)
