I'd like to say Congratulations to the Eagles and their supporters for a fantastic effort in winning today and for making the Finals.
Really, a marvellous effort when you consider the majority of the footballing public (and our favourite person Sabre!) picked them to come last this year.
I picked the Eagles to come 8th this year and its great to see a risky tip come thru! I hope the Eagles go far in the finals!
If i was an Eagles supporter id be celebrating very hard tonight!!!

After being touted as wooden spooners and not being given any hope all season; today has proved how far the club has come
Great win by the boys and now we can look forward to the finals

Well done on the win - just too fast and too hungry for my boys. Play like that next week and Essendon could be in for a rude shock. Best wishes for your finals campaign.

Cheers Macca!! Were all pretty bloody happy! Looked shaky there in the last quarter when they drew level but we just wanted it more.
Port v WC Grand Final ? :D ....cant beat your lot in Adelaide or Perth so why not give it a bash in Melbourne :D

Thanks, but no excuses from us. You can only play the team that's put up against you and you did the job.
I went to the Cats vs Hawks, and when the Cats had the chance to win put in front of them, they choked. You guys created your chance and took it.
Both our clubs had been written off at the start of the year, so we can all be proud of what our teams have achieved this season.

It'd be a nice thought, but I'd be happy with 2 weeks of finals for 1 win and 1 loss. I'm not sure what you guys think of where your club is heading over the next few years, but I think if the Roos made a Preliminary Final, it would just hide cracks in the team (like the Hawks and Tigers).

I'm guessing he used negative reinforcement treatment, in a procedure involving a football, a beauty mirror, and a big stick for every time he chose the wrong one.

Well done West Coast.
With Judd, Cousins and Kerr on the ball the eagles have a first class midfield for the next decade. Headland will probably add nicely to that mix too. Kerr's handballing is sensational and all four are regular goal kickers.

Cheers Shinboners! A few nervous moments, but glad we scraped through in the end. The Kangaroos looked the goods and hopefully your mob can beat Melbourne next weekend. I've followed Digby Morrells career with a bit of interest since he came up through West Perth in the WAFL and I was amazed at how big he'd grown (looked faster and stronger than Jako at times). Best wishes for your finals campaign too!
Yes, i too would like to say well done on the win. Like i said on a previous thread here, my sincere congratulations on the win and good luck in the finals. Worsfold has done a great job in his first year, even if he didn't make the finals, as many 'experts' tipped you to finish in the bottom 4. I actually tipped you to finish in 9-12, but i guess you proved us both wrong. Your mob has got some great up and coming young uns like Kerr and Judd, and Cousins is an absolute champ already at 24. We have got some decent players 24 and under ourselves like Teague, Morrell, Harding, Harvey, Pickett, Baird, Sinclair. Maybe this points a return to the glory days we both had in the early to late 90's :D

Not only Jess, but also Burton, Abraham, and Bell. Robbins is another example. Pagan seems to have a knack of often taking hacks from one club and turning them into much better players. Bell was crap at Freo, but Denis took him to Arden Street in 95 and look at him now. Funny how some of them are Freo players? Maybe it's coz that they were at a crap side and were better off at a better side in North! :D Being their derby rivals, i am sure most of you West Coast people would agree!
