I would like to know what the different supporters think would be the best team their club could field from their list next season.
I will post what I think may be the best for all clubs
The Pies
Wakelin Prestigiacomo Lockyer
Clement Kinnear Johnson
Didak Buckley Davis
Freeborn Rocca Butheras
Tarrant Molloy Burns
Fraser O'Bree Adkins
Interchange
Richardson Shaw Rintoul Lane

What a useless post! Collingwood has already reserved the bottom of the ladder position for season 2001, it's already booked!
You may as well save a bit of money and give the players' mums a bit of a run on Saturday afternoon, maybe they'll go in a little harder and if your lucky back into a pack!
Bring down Mrs Rocca to Vic Park and she'll fire em' up! Maybe we can get her to log onto this board and fire you people up a bit.
I thought Maggy supporters were supposed to be loud and outspoken???

I'd like to see Bucks up on the half forward line, sharing with the midfield role. IMHO, that's where he'll do the most damage.
I reckon with the addition of Clement, Steinfort and Wakelin (if all fit), we might not need to depend on Bucks' defensive skills as much as we have in past years.
Mick's expecting big things from Kinnear, although I'm not sure whether he'll get the CHB at this stage.
Tarrant in the pocket might be an option, although marking is his strength at this stage.
Agree with O'Bree on the ball although Bucks might get relegated if we're struggling.
Big wrap for Johnson (perhaps on the wing)but where's Neon Leon? Guess he still needs to prove himself.
Burns has done some damage up forward on occasion but I see him at half back to strengthen our defence. Betheras too.
Great to see that we have enough depth to make picking the best 22 a task.
Good old Collingwood forever

Little Poppa, this team will not finish last. If you don't know these players' attributes then it merely highlights your ignorance of THE Club. With a strengthened and taller backline and forward line, the speed and skill of the young midfield fleet will overwhelm most teams this year. Just picture our first five games from last year and then picture it consitently for every single game.
Collingwood is the most underrated team going into season 2001: and that's just the way Mick wants it...

I am suprised that both teams so far list Didak in the starting 18. He is 18 years old, yet to play an AFL game.
Played OK in the SANFL but its a big jump.

I think Didak is the sort of player that really needs a challenge. He starred in Port's two finals wins, against what would have been serious opposition and Port/Crows AFL players. I would also suggest that it would be more daunting playing SANFL than AFL in terms of getting physical pressure from the tough-nut mullet types that get a kick over there!
I know that the AFL is lightening fast in comparrison to SANFL, but Didak's pace and certainly his skills are not in question. From all reports, Didak has shown some serious form on the track and physically (in terms of build) has been likened to Paul Licuria, so he is not completely unready for footy at this level.
With the likes of Chris Tarrant, Jarod Molloy, Anthony Rocca and to a lesser extent Holland and Davis, in a pocket Didak will get, at the very worst, the fourth best defender. And he LOVES a goal!
I don't know what the odds are for Didak in the Norwich Rising Star comp, but (with Riewoldt & Koschitzke needing time) they would have to be almost unbackable. In time this kid will be as good as Craig Bradely. Chuck him in the deep end; he'll love it!!!
