Just heard on KB's show that Polly Has left the Alfred and has moved to the epworth for Rehabilitation that is great news shows how strong and wilful he is c'mon polly great work, fight and fight and WIN! :):)

is a step forward on a long road ahead, should leave the boy get to it now and wish him the best with any luck in a couple of months we'll see him march outa there

I haven't heard it mentioned anywhere but I was just wondering whether there was any confirmation on any brain damage that Polak may of suffered or is it still unknown at this stage? Great to hear he's into rehab now. Good positive steps!

I'd heard that he'd been eating, recognizing faces, voices and also being able to acknowledge when asked or been spoken to
could still have lasting brain injuries like short or long term memory loss, amnesia etc
outside of that i think there have been a lot of mixed reports...still as a major brain injury patient that is still a long way forward into his recovery than what he should probably be at at this point

Absolutely fantastic news that he is now in rehab. Hope he makes a full recovery.

Reported on the footy show he will make a full recovery. Dont get me wrong I am shattered for Polak and his family, but everyone seems to be reluctant to talk about his football future, which is fair enough I guess. But does anyone have any knowledge or speculation on this? Does a full recovery mean we will get his strong hands in the backline agian?

I'm sure we've all thought about it.
Obviously, the important thing is that he recovers to live a fulfilling life and hopefully playing football for Richmond is part of that.
