:thumbsu:Now I know its unlikely but if the Tigers win the next 3 in a row and hang tough and upset a top 4 team (its long shot okay) but stranger things have happened I hope that they can fight out the rest of the season.
If they finish just out of the 8 but show some fight and spirit I will still be proud of them maybe the loss to the blues can spur them on Cmon Tigers.:D

I seriously doubt a loss against an overated side like the Blues - on a day when the legends of our club were watching - can spur on the already apathetic stream running through the Richmond side at the moment. Yes, yes we should all be more "positive", but a “positive” spin on things won't fuel the future - it will only fuel Anthony Hudson career longevity..
I am a long time lister, first time caller of BigFooty, but am concerned about a sympathetic yet discomforting picture emerging on the Richmond board; of those who have large objects permanently inserted inside the ends of their world.. Due to such objects, they become blurred to the realities of life, and therefore, feel the need to push their own agenda regardless of whether that agenda appears to be relevant, important and true to the rest of the sane world. They fiercely defend the ideas and principles that paradoxically reinstate the kind of damage they claim to be fighting against – such is the ambiguous line between right and wrong among people who think of themselves as having high moral standards. I refer to the evangelical rantings of “bright lights” and “making judgement”. Maybe Arthur Miller should be running football operations?
If the booze culture proliferating at Richmond could be exchanged for the drug of choice that handed West Coast their premiership perhaps we’d be on the right track.

Beneath the overuse of adverbs and blatant purple prose you may have something legitimate to say but we can't tell for sure.

Expect us to lift big time

If we charge $100 entry fee, or allow free entry and charge say $10 a lash, it could turn out to be a great fundraiser :p

I would normally be confident of taking down West Coast and Essendon. But we will be missing Richo through injury (hamstring) and Polak. Two of our key position players gone. Also who knows what effect Polaks accident had on the playing group. We play West Coast over there and I would not be too confident of getting over Essendon. I would say we are now a 50/50 chance against those teams when a few weeks ago I would have penciled them in for a win.

We have Peter Sassegum taking one extreme and you are taking the other.
One is propoganda, one is a bloke trying to recite the dictionary.
I think ill stay in the middle of you two blokes where posts are comprehensible.

If you find slumming it with the great unwashed of the proleteriate distasteful, then you probably shouldn't be following a working class club such as Richmond. As you are some 90 years too late to support University , may I suggest perhaps Melbourne , where I'm sure your pompous middle-class psuedo-intellectual antics will find a much more appreciative audience.
Other than that , quite an interesting albeit highly derivative troll. *golf claps* :thumbsu:
