Dave, just have a beer and enjoy the win. We couldn't have asked for much more tonight

Wellers lost some form anthiny was playing well as a forwad, fair enough.

Pendles was tagged pretty hard tonight, sure he is fine.

Davies playedn as a deep forward, didnt move up the ground much. I dont think he is injured more that without any real tall forwards other than cloke we need his goal kicking more.

My only problem is why cant we bury teams early with the oppurtunities we get

Pendlebury gets 20 possessions when he's quiet. That's how good he is :)

On a side note, even if Fraser is fit, does he warrant selection? My gut feeling is no.

Dunno about Pendles - he seemed to be moving freely, got some good touches and pulled a couple of swift moves in the pack.

Missed the first quarter - did they say why Wellingham was omitted?

Hope they rest Davis this week bigtime before the Crows match - he'll be important for us in such a tight match.

When Swans got going in the fourth, man that was scary.

Yeah that had me a little worried for a bit. Sydney really didn't deserve to win that game after their initial quarters.

My only concern is that Medders had swallowed too many angry pills - umpires got a serve, Sydney copped some and even JA copped a verbal for having a shot instead of passing! :)

The spray he gave to the umpires at the end of the third was funny.

Exactly. We got the four points. Enjoy the win today and think about the negatives during the week.

It sure was I but I think we let them get back into it
For the first 3 qtrs we played possession footy but in the last we kept kicking it to a contest and we werent holding the contested marks like we were early
my thoughts anyway

Davis slower than usual. Still injured?

I gotta say that was an "agonising" game to watch.
We should have put them away before half time but the game plan was working really well. If only the accuracy was there.

Sydneys greatest strength is their ability to drag other sides down to their grinding doldrum of a game.

They are so ____ing boring....I just thank god we have the better of them in recent times.

Hall should go for a year just for absolute ____ing stupidity. The guy is the most over-rated FF ever. If it's not coming straight to him on a lead or falling into his hands from a mis-kick he has no idea. LMAO at him throwing his hand out after he could not actually get a good punch on Wakes....____ing idiot would not even make a real boxer despite all the BS about his supposed ability. God knows how long he would last against an opponenet who was looking at him. Gutless ____wit.

WHY DOES MALTHOUSE PERSIST IN PLAYING HACKWELL???

...Sorry, I was just filling in for Big Bucks. Oh how I've missed him.

Good game Nick!

Davis slower than usual. Still injured?

My mate with OP reckoned he moved like a guy with OP. I just said it's his ankle, & if he's less than 80% he might as well be 0%.

But yep, no concerns from tonight at all. We killed 'em, but maybe should've murderised 'em.

Davis is definately still feeling that ankle. He is turning like the Queen Mary at the moment.

Pendles was a little quiet but still got 20 possessions and I thought alot of them were in close and under pressure. Some of his work in tight was excellent. If all his quiet games are that good I'll be happy.

You had me going there for a second, Rohan.

My only concern was Dale's hair. Grace Darling is distraught. What did you think, Maggie?

What the ____ is Dale Thomas problem. Can someone go and tell that moron to get a ____ing haircut.

Davis just didn't look right. Didn't look to be moving 100%, might have been a bit sore or something, I don't know.
Although Thomas was superb in the 1st half, he might have dropped off a bit in the second. Either that or he had a better opponent. Hopefully next week he puts 4 quaters together & a big Pies win!
Cloke better watch out, might have some concerns with contact he made to a Sydney player.
The ground was PATHETIC! It looked terrible, it looked hard to bounce the ball on, looked slipery & way to soft. a BIG thumbs down :thumbsd::thumbsd::thumbsd:
We were very innacurate in front of goal so we could have won by a lot more.

Anyway, it wasn't the best game I've ever seen but we won so that's all I care about!!! :thumbsu::D
GO PIES!!:thumbsu::thumbsu:

I didn't mind it actually. It was a bit different to see him like that at first but I think it suits him (but not as good as the blonde :p). I did notice he has some small plats in his hair..... don't know what's the go with that one....

Thomas will play better if he didn't have all that hair, it slows him down and gets into his eyes. Get a haircut!!!!

Sneaky! His hair is his point of difference. It's just that he's gone a bit ancient Celtic warrior recently, with the plaits etc. But you may be right. A fair few in the team could do with a good coiffure.:p

Why? is it hindering him in the way he plays?
I don't think it makes a difference, he'll play the way he plays regardless of whether his hair is long or short....:eek:

FFS its hair, does it really ____ing matter?

I wasn't happy with our finishing off last night, and our falling off a bit in the last quarter. I thought we should have been further infront at every change and I wasn't terribly happy with some of the sprays the players were giving to the umps. Medhursts was funny though, I like how he shut up and then the siren went and he just went of his nut, was ____ing hiliarious. :D:D

Dane Swan, well played just keeps on keeping on
Pendles had me worried but he may have been getting tagged??
Heater did well, not his best game but better than some recent ones
Davis looked like doing something Davislike a couple of times but was tackled before he had a chance
Medhurst :D
Cloke :D
Maxwell :thumbsu: good game
Wakelin, also good game. :)
Bryan, WTF? I have been getting told he is shit all year??

Everyone else was pretty much not great but not bad, so it was a good team effort. Just my opinion of course.

The ground was shit, if one of our players got injured because of it who would we sue?

The BEAR was awsome Fraser has to work hard for his spot.
Wood was OK, but a fit Fraser will be all over him. How often do you see Fraser getting run down because he can't decide who to kick it too? I think it will be Woods who will be out for Fraser when he is fit again. You are right though, BEAR will stay, his toughness and strength are just what we need.

His ball skills were excellent last night, some of his 'pick ups' of the ball running full pace were as good as anyone's

Agreed. Probably his best game for the year.

Pendles still has that hamstring complaint,
wouldn't be suprised if there is a little tear,
which would almost be healed,
was heavily tagged though,
Davis is not right at all,
just isn't explosive, needs a rest and should get one this week,
expect to see him out and wellingham back in, and JA (possibly) being dropped for Fraser, although, Fraser's knee and back are still stuffed.

On the hair thing.
Have you noticed how certain teams players all, well the majority, seem to gravitate to the same hair style? Some can't of course such as Barry Hall and Gary Ablett Jnr

Adelaide got the dark with a bit of brown highlights, semi spiked look.
The Swans are going the not quite bald, prickly look, probably in sympathy for Barry's actual hair...lol.

I really can't remember how each looks but if you have a look over the next few weeks you'll see what I mean.
Personally I am happy the Pies have a wide range of coiffure...not the cloned knob look.

And for those espousing a trimmed Dale Thomas.....don't forget what happened to Samson! :D
