Good on him! The ICC are a total bunch of muppets. That should never have been declared a draw that England v Pakistan result (where Pakistan are accused of ball tampering, walk off field and game is declared forfeited). I sympathise with the P's but you can't hold the game to ransom.

Now who else at the ICC will follow Mr Holding's example rather than staying put and having their strings pulled for them.

What do you expect the game is not controlled by the ICC. They are controlled by the Pakistan Cricket Board and the Indian Cricket Board.

Makes me sick to my stomach, they walk off the field like a bunch of sooks, get forfeited as a result, play the racism card, now get the game called a draw.

I'm just glad Captain Hypocrite himself, Sunil Gavaskar, was made to stand down from his role.

Of course it was cited as being racism in the Indian press, nothing to do with the huge conflict of interest he had

I've always liked Michael Holding - and now I have a huge amount of respect for him as well.

Well played Holding, showed plenty of ticker in standing down. All this emphasises is that Pakistan and India can spit the dummy and take their bat and ball and go home when things don't go their way and they'll be looked after.

This decision made me worry about the future of Test cricket, this won't be the first decision made for the benefit of Indian or Pakistani cricket. Maybe we should have a superleague Test comp with us, Eng, WI, NZ and SA, so the balance of power is a bit more even!

Geez the ICC make it hard for any reasonable-minded person to take it seriously:rolleyes:

Well done Michael Holding:thumbsu:

Time the ICC grew some balls. Cricket is never gunna be taken as a fiar dinkum international sport if its governing body keeps bowing to the demands of India and Pakistan. Good on Holding for taking a stance. I just hope the next time India or Pakistan have a sook for no reason the ICC has the guts to tell em to get ####ed.

If Australia were to somehow not become affilated with the ICC and do what you suggest and only have these 5 nations playing one another I would be all for it!!!!

More room on the calender

More 20/20

More rest for the players

And no more bullshit sooking form those Indians or Pakis

Even though it would never happen it is always good to dream:D
