Loved his early game on Saturday.
I actually hate Sh!tney more than Collingwood, I'm over hating Collingwood I have made peace with them, so it's nice to see someone come and smack them!
Go 'THE BOGAN' Thomas!
Lol, He played great in the 1st half!! BOG in the 1st half. Went a bit quiet after that though.

He's not a bogan, he is a Rural Rastafar!!!
He's a B.O.Gan is what i think he means.
I think he put his head down and played a ripping 1st half and was clearly BOG til half time (could have had 5 on the board). He looked very switched on and serious with little celebration even after taking the 2 speccies.
After half time Bolton was put on him and I think Thomas then played a very sacrificial role by pulling Bolton out of the contest (he's their best defender). If you watch the replay they stopped directing most of their forward thrusts through Thomas.
I'm happy for him as there were several arse clowns who were suggesting he should be dropped last week.
Can you imagine how dull the game would have been without Daisy on Saturday night?

After Thomas' first shot at goal, where he missed, Dad was saying that he probably needed to kick a bit more to the center (or something along those lines). Then the next time he lined up for goal & scored Dad goes "I bet Ted (my decesed grandfather, Collingwood player/supporter) had a word in his ear.... that's why he kicked a goal that time."
That was nice.... :)
I think I'm full of randomness lately, don't mind me! :D:o:p
It would be nice if he could be more consistant. He has flashes of brilliance but then goes quiet.....
Don't yell at me MG. :p

Don't worry thatday, I won't yell at you. I think we should just calmly walk out side & discuss this in a civilized (sp?) manner, shall we? :)
Nah, I would prefer to stay in sight of others, that way you can't stab me. :p:D

I'll clip you over the ears but that's about it. :D

There is no doubt, he is a bogan.
Old Levis, the duffle coat and the stubbie of MB.
The man is obviously "a man of the people" and he will always fit in at a club like Collingwood.
Yes! He's a bogan, but he's our bogan.

Pie Eyed, you are one of our most respected posters, but for your own credibility, do NOT pontificate on the fashion front. The duffle is undoubtedly back and is the wardrobe must-have this year. And it looks to be very well cut too.
Dale is not a bogun, he's just a country boy. Salt of the Aussie earth.
I see they were short of glasses at that party. I'm more worried about Stanley in that bunny-girlish get-up.

I do not even pretend to pontificate ala fashion....
I myself have a more than a little "bogan" in me. The term bogan is, I would think, proudly worn by a large portion of our "country boys".
I'm not deriding the fabulous "duffle" in any way what-so-ever and in fact it is a sure sign of his humility and his willingnees to let his onfield deeds speak for him rather than his fashion sense.
He's the lad.....the lad we want.

Face Dale Thomas is always going to be one of those players that wins games off his own boot about 3 or 4 times a season. And on saturday he did in the first quarter. That was where the match was won. His never going to be mr consistency. I love his new hair cut

What a load of dribble! 3 or 4 times a season, I think you are giving the Scarecrow way to much credit. He's just a 3rd year player that does some nice things and is inconsistant. Superstars win 3-4 games a year off their own boot and the scarecrow aint one of them!
