Huge win to Nine, has to be one of their largest winning margins on a Sunday this year (11%).
60 minutes, Domestic Blitz and CSI did the job for them, with over 1m for WAT in the later slot capping off a big night for Nine and this really sets them up for a weekly win.
Seven had a mediocre night, Seven news did ok without the AFL lead-in, Gladiators did what it usually does <1.3m, BOTC couldn't better it though and that didn't help Private Practice or the woeful Lipstick Jungle, which should be boned in the coming weeks.
Ten just beat the ABC for third spot, despite the ABC having four shows rate better than Tens best - BB-Eviction with just 935k, one of the worst eviction ratings ever.
BB Daily show didn't do well either 753k, its almost better to put a TGYH repeat on.
It wasn't all bad for Ten, Dexter scored an impressive 932k starting at around 9:45pm, with the average lead-in of Rove (871k) it may be moved to a better timeslot.
Not sure where it can go though, whether its classification means it has to be in a later slot.
Solid night for the ABC too, ABC News, Doctor Who, Valentines Day and The Einstein Factor doing well, all over 900k.

That was a cracking movie. One of the best things from Australia in recent years.
Strange as to why it never went to the big screen.
That was a cracking movie. One of the best things from Australia in recent years.
Strange as to why it never went to the big screen.
Does anyone know if it will be repeated on ABC2

Some decent numbers for Seven last night, their consistency throughout the night helped them to a big win last night, not as big as Nines Sunday but they are back in contention for the weekly win now.
Seven News, TT, CH, Border/SP and Criminal Minds all did very well for Seven, Criminal Minds especially with 1.3m from 9:30-10:30pm where Boston Legal managed 700k+ in the 10:30 slot
For Nine T1/2M easily beat H&A, DA: Life of Mammals dipped a bit to under 1.2m, which is disappointing but FWAW regained some viewers with nearly 1.3m but The F Word let Nine down with just over 800k, ruining their night.
For Ten, BB didn't do much at all, yet it was their highest rating show of the night in 19th place with <900k :o
It hurt GNW and MLS dropped to 676k, thank goodness, i hope it drops further so Ten put something half decent in that slot.
For the ABC it was Denton and ABC News that did well last night while Top Gear continues to do well for SBS, they managed an 8% share on a pretty competitive night.

We can only hope - 10 have flogged it too much (like BB) so it is good to see the figures are reflecting how bad the show is.

Pretty close night between the 3 big commercial networks last night, which is good to see.
Some impressive figures last night with The One and Wipeout both over 1.3m and doing a lot better than i expected, will be interesting to see if they can hold their audience.
For Seven it was The One and their 6-7pm line-up that got them over the line with All Saints not far behind the dreadful Two 1/2 Men while Border Patrol NZ did quite well at 9:30pm.
Nine had a decent night compared to their usual Tuesday figures, Wipeout and T1/2M the standouts, T1/2M with over 1.3m at 7pm and an impressive 1.4m at 8:30pm, although i dislike the show good on nine for sticking with it after last years woeful figures.
Ten slipped behind a bit from the last few Tuesday nights, its repeat of NCIS at 8:30pm took a big hit with just over 1m but the NCIS at 9:30pm managed over 1.3m, a very impressive figure.
The other noticeable figure was the Bill Gates special on SBS which managed over 500k, a good doco that one

Has bad lads army been boned?
I can't find any articles on it but it must've been boned due to Ladette to Lady replacing it last night, which is stange after just 1 episode, and it didn't do that badly, a similar number to LTL last night (although it lacked the promotion as it was a late change).
Ch.9 are strange, Mick Malloys (sp?) show was kept on for an eternity with pretty dreadful ratings while Canal Road was bumped back an hour after just a week or two yet it didn't have terrible ratings.......strange.

No WN figures yet but by the looks of the WTD figures Ten did very well last night as did Seven.
The Pamela Anderson trick did it for Ten last night, averaging over 1.4m until 9:40pm, with the ABC the only real competition.
TNInventors, Spicks and Specks, TGT and the new Hollomen series did very well for the ABC, TGT with its highest rating of the year.
For Nine their docos slumped under the competition with RSPCA:AR and ME doing well for Seven while BB had Pamela on.
At 8:30pm it was the ABC and Tens time as MPU and Criminal Minds couldn't pass 1.2m.
An interesting night that shook it up a bit, it'd be good if Ten did more of this as its become so boring with the usual Seven and Nine dominance.

Good rating for Big Brother last night but people were tuning into see Pamala just like they tuned into see Carson a few months back. Now that's over people will tune out again. I think this years Big Brother has shown how bush deluded Channel Ten are. Any other show that was failing like this would either be pulled or just quitely left to run it's course. No, not Big Brother. Channel 10 are still desperately insisting we must love Big Brother.
Pathetic. :thumbsd:

Yeah, no thanks.
I mean special type shows, say a NCIS marathon, or a Simpsons super Tuesday, something to shake it up a bit, movies during the week (if they've got the Simpsons movie Wed night 7:30pm would be a great slot).
They are putting SYTYCD on Wednesday night which is a good move, but they have really been disappointing this year (Ten).

Solid figures for all three major networks last night with Nine taking out Thursday night as usual, but it was a closer margin.
Nines T1/2M, Getaway and Singing Bee all did well (unfortunately though as the SB is rubbish television) with TFS doing well with over 900k in the later slot.
For Seven their news and TT did the job early and gave them a slight chance of victory, but their comedies lost out to Getaway and marginally beat BB, Bones came third in its slot, TAR though did ok for the longer special, just under 800k.
Ten had an improved TN compared to previous weeks with the BB Pamela Anderson special over 1m, Futurama didn't do well though with just over 800k but it didn't have a huge impact on CI, which managed 1.1m and SVU managed an impressive 1.220m in the 9:30pm slot, maybe Ten should swap them around.

The WTD figures show Seven can still have a chance of taking out the week, tonight will be crucial as they could take the lead with BH&G/AFL, then it comes down to Saturdays movies.

Its a bit silly Ten having her in Wed-Thurs-Fri, the last two are when their target demographic are out and tonight there'll be even less of their demo.
It should've been a two night- Sunday night and Monday night special, although even that may have been a bit of an overkill.
