The Essendon vs Brisbane game on Sat Night is not live on Fox Sports 1! Port Adelaide vs North Melbourne is the live match & considering it is on Channel 10 anyway! I believe its a absolute disgrace that the AFL cannot have every game live on either free-to-air or pay tv! I seriously hope FOX FOOTY can be relaunched next season.

Happens in Perth too when the game coincides with a WC or Freo game...both stations take the WA game.
It's a disgrace - ACT and QLD get the game on Main Event but us, who actually want to watch it, don't get the option.
I have an email that I send to AFL broadcasting every time it happens (3 times this seaosn) and never have I had a resoponse.
I'll send it again now from an Adelaide perspective.
The 'actual' footballing public in this Country is continuously ignored.

Yep, this happens all the time.
Why can't Foxtel show different games in different places?

Exactly. Fox Sports do have 3 sport channels.

Three channels: AFL, NRL, Super 14.
It is too expensive/inconvenient to send commentary teams to two games at the same time.
It sucks, but they're the reasons.

It sucks, but they're the reasons. They wouldn't need to send commentary teams, they could just take channel 10's feed of the game.
