Firstly - the only reason for a split round is to set the VFL Grand Final the day before the AFL Grand Final, and to synchronise the two finals series.

However there's a story going around that the Geelong / Nth Ballarat game may be relocated to North Ballarat and time shifted to the afternoon - thus depriving AFL fans of pre-match entertainment, anyone have any details or updates ?
