This week has dragged on and on. I can't stop thinking of tomorrow night. Theres been too much time to ponder over whether we'll turn up or not tomorrow. We lose and we give up a bit in the race to the finals. We win and we're not far from finals. I'm exited and worried at the same time.

I have a lot riding on this game, and I mean not just bets but a lot of pride and my reputation amongst my football supporting mates. We have a lot riding on it as well, as I believe a loss would make it extremely difficult to make the finals.

I'm more confident that I have been about any game this year (apart from the last time we met Carlton) yet I've still been extremely nervous all week, dreading the empty feeling, not to mention the severe bagging, I will get if we lose.

On the other hand I haven't been this excited about a game for a while, 13 days is way to long to wait to see your team play! Go Saints!!!

Personally I'd like the baggers to win, but if you are to win then hopefully it is a good game, not the boring rubbish football you normally serve up. Another one of those games and you should be barrred from Friday night football.

Maybe they could replace St Kilda games with replays of every Carlton game for the last six years.

I think Carlton have a show for one reason only - law of averages.

Evry right to feel nervous. Lose this and bye bye finals for 2008.

We should win. However should and actually doing it could be two different things. Carlton have improved a lot. We have the lost the feeling of knowing this game would boost our percentage by a long way. Tommorow night shouyld be a close contest.

St.kilda to win by 19.

I had a dream we won by a goal kicked in the last 40 seconds of the game.

Along with a lot of other random crap that made no sense. But still...interesting...

Spose it must be on my mind a lot if I'm dreaming about it haha.

I think it will be a pretty close gam but hope we can blow it open toward the end. If we can frustrate Fevola early and shut down Judd, we will be well on our way. Saints by 20.

I really wish I was in Melbourne for this one, should be a cracker. Saints by 40 :)

I've said in my tipping Saints by 30, but that's probably being optimistic. I'll say Saints by 20 realistically - but as I've said on the Carlton board, it all depends on whether the Saints come out like they should, or like they did against Port. The thing is, it's just inexplicable why they would, but that hasn't stopped them before.

Please, come to play, boys!

We're Carlton's bogey side. Even if they play better than us I'd feel confident of taking the win.

We struggle to beat even port and the lions when they're struggling. Saints are struggling at the minute, but we should still beat them.

I was so het up by last night I could scarcely cope. Absolutely let rip in the last quarter once it was in the bag, just to let the Blues know they're still a rabble.

So felt like starting a 'na na na na, na na na na, hey hey, gooooooodbye' chant.

But I was basically surrounded by blues. And didnt have the guts. :p

But I was basically surrounded by blues. And didnt have the guts. :pWhere abouts we're you seated? A few guys were doing that near me. I sorta joined in.

I know someone would have heard me last night. I let rip in the 2nd or 3rd quarter. Surrounded by Carlton supporters everyone was looking at me! :p The guy next to me stood up for me saying more Carlton supporters should be that passionate.

Yes, the mates I was watching it with started ribbing me about that with about 5 mins to go...! We had 2 American girls who are visiting with us watching the game - I think they were just a wee-bit freaked out by my rantings during the game...

Ah victory is sweet. $80 in my pocket overall and a lot of embarrassment for my idiot mates who for some reason thought Carlton were suddenly no longer a rabble, Carlton 2008 = Carlton 2004. Although tipping us by 110 points did stuff up my margin the tipping, but I feel the extreme confidence I had in our team for the past 2 weeks was justified.
