Just read about Matthew Allan walking out on Carlton over a pay dispute. This might open the door for the bombers, not sure he is worth what is rumoured he wants, but the one thing lacking in the bombers structure this year is the ruck division, Barnesy has been missed, Hille hasnt progressed as quick as sheeds prolly wanted him to and Salmon has been workman like, but he aint no Primus or King.

Allan is still relatively young for a ruckman, they dont mature til they are close to saying hello to 30 (so say the so called gurus). Assuming he can get over the injury problems, he could be a great asset.

If he's asking for more money from Caaaarlton, then how the hell would we fit him in under our salary cap, without losing quality players?

Caracella, Misiti and Mercuri are all rumoured to be trade bait - Personally, and I hate to say it, I'd rather be putting in a huge bid for Michael Gardiner. He's alot less injury prone than Allan, and younger too.
