View Full Version : Cuz wins back to back WA Footballer of the Year Award.
Won it easily from Haselby. Im not sure we will see another winner of this award in ten years. Sure Judd, Kerr, Haselby, Pavlich are all young and getting better plus other young stars like Gardiner but Cousins....well he is just so consistent. Anyways just in case nobody else heard...he has won it.

I would just like to add that Pavlich somehow managed to win the WA Player Of The Year award on ABC :)
It will also be interesting to see who wins the one on Cometti Live.

Whacko! Still, only fair that he gives Juddy or Kerr a go next year - Cousins can only drive one car at a time, can't he?
Maybe it should be for West Australians only - hence WA player of the year. That way Pavlich can forget about ever winning it.

He said in todays paper that he gave last years car to his brother and this years car will probably be shared between his woman and his sister. How many cars does he have??

From memory, the brother is Matt? A couple of years younger, could play OK, but not to Ben's standard. :(
Was anyone else excited when the third Jakovich (Adam? Adem?) was playing state under 16s or whatever it was?
And how many Matera boys are there? 6? 7? Yet only 3 played for us? This isn't good enough :( ;)

Matt Cousins could barely break into the East Freo colts or reserves. He only became semi-serious about his footy when he started seeing Ben do well. Last I heard he was still going round saying " Im Ben Cousins' brother" and getting into fights at parties, but that was a while ago, might have grow up a bit now.

Is he still playing and if so, any chance he might develop into half the player Glen Jakovich is? If so lets sign him up.
Also Daniel Kerr's sister is meant to be a fair footy player. Today Tonight did a story last year on the Kerr family.

If she does get a crack at AFL level, it'll have to be with that all - girls team, what are they called again? you know, that team that wears purple ;)
