Looking like Friday will get closer to a sell-out than the Brisbane game. There are only 11,000 seats left and I would be expecting a large amount of Collingwood supporters to be buying tickets tomorrow. The Brisbane game would have been a sell-out but because of Football Park members not turning up the crowd was less than capacity. No question about having to allow for members in a final though. If 11,000 seats are remaining then 43,000 have been sold. And the only no-shows will be illness or otherwise engaged, not seatholders who don't want to attend a Port match.

Was that counting the members area?

Most Collingwood fans have got there tickets through the club..so I expect a crowd of around 46000 - 47000

What I meant was, you don't know the exact number coming before a home-and-away match as Footy Park members and season ticket holders don't have to buy a ticket for the game, they get in on an annual pass. Everyone has to buy a ticket for a final.

With the Prices paid for tickets, it will have to be a serious illness to keep anyone away.

Do you think anyone, other than myself, will buy tickets at the Gate and avoid paying the Bass ripoff charge?

Going by the Telstra website, there are 11,000 left in the outer plus 8,000 members tickets.

That is a total of 19,000 tickets.

That's a ridiculous amount of tickets left. What's wrong with you theatregoers over there?

Victorians don't like to travel by the looks of it.

As you may know Port don't have many band wagon supporters and there won't be many "neutral" supporters in SA willing to pay around $40 not to watch their team play. So it will basically be mainly Port supporters plus the few Collingwood supporters that remember how to venture out of Victorian,

You have no right whatesover to demand a preliminary final until you can start filling your own little stadium first. 33,000, what a pathetic turnout. The AFL should of demanded this game to be played at the G. 70,000 wouldnt of been out of the question.
