I know someone from this board has posted on the Sydney board about him before, but what would you offer Sydney for him.

Would it be great, you will have a team full of Abletts in a few years (there is another Ablett relation that plays for Port Melbourne, might be work a look, is his name Ryan Ablett?)

What would you offer?

Fairly versitile I think.
Half back/Half forward and can play midfield IIRC.

I think we've got enough off them.If he was a key position,he might be alright.

I think an Ideal Swap would be Danny O'Brien for Luke Ablett.

With Ricco and Ronnie in the twighlight, Jub you can never let an opportunity slip.

JUBJUB,

Now now... Menschy has way too much skill and ability to be considered for the Swans for next season!! :D:D

On the other hand how about Billy Brownless?? I mean he's only been retired for 4 or 5 years... that's the sort of player who would be ideal up at Sydney!! LOL!! :D:D

That sounds good... but something even better would be to get Plugger out of retirement again and then you can have Plugger and Billy in the same forward line. :p :p :p

Go Cats!!:)

With Andrew Dunkley retiring, Sydney now have a position available at full back and I was just thinking of the possible recruits. Now, taking into consideration the fact that Sydney tend to go for players in their 30's who are past it, these players could be looked at...

Steven Silvagni
Danny Frawley
Chris Langford
Stephen O'Reilly
Jamie Shannahan
Tim Darcy... LOL!! :D
Rod Carter... (could be too old though!) :D

I like your thinking their SeinDude!! They all seem like worthy contenders for the Swans full-back. Rod Carter is my pick... who said he was too old for the Swans???...LOL:D:D

catattack,

Well Rod's nickname was "The Tilt" which is appropriate as Sydney seem to like to bring back players for one last tilt at a premiership!! :D:D
