Wow. Slow news day? How does this make news, honestly.
WAYWARD Hawk Lance "Buddy" Franklin recovered from Friday's loss to Geelong by spending a late night out clubbing with model Kasia Z.
Spies told Confidential Buddy spent Saturday night lip-locked to Chadwick beauty Kasia Zachwieja (http://www.chadwickmodels.com/model/1423) at Chapel St "it" spot Electric Ladyland (http://www.electricladyland.com.au/), before the pair hit South Melbourne club Motel.
Sources said they spent the night kissing and canoodling, before leaving Motel after 3am yesterday.
Kasia, 26, yesterday admitted she had been out with Franklin, 21, but denied they had been locking lips. "Yes we were out together in a big group celebrating my friend's birthday," Kasia said.
"But we're just mates."
Kasia, who broke up with DJ Grant Smillie earlier this year, said she met Franklin through mutual friends a year ago.
"He's a dude," she said. "There's no romance, we're just hanging out."
Sources said Franklin was well-behaved and not involved in any trouble at either of the nightspots. His big night out came just two weeks after appearing on The Footy Show, where he told Garry Lyon his dancing shoes would soon be gathering dust.
"I've stopped going out as much as I was in the first couple of years," Franklin said.
"It does get to me sometimes. I like to go out and have a beer and there's nothing wrong with that."
Franklin found himself in hot water when he was evicted from city club CQ Bar early last month. Hawthorn management investigated and cleared him over an incident with two young women who claimed the footballer threw a drink over their group and propositioned them.
A Hawthorn (http://www.hawthornfc.com.au/)spokeswoman said yesterday that the club did not impose player curfews. "The club educates and supports responsible behaviour," she said.
Franklin could have run into some of his Geelong opponents, who also visited Motel after the club's ball on Saturday night.
* Fellow AFL superstar Chris Judd was at Revolver on Friday night with girlfriend Rebecca Twigley and a group of her friends.
