He was going to meet up with us at Prossie on Saturday, missed out on a clubbing. Port Power02 stood with the boys all day & had a ball.
Come on macca, get over it, you`ve got another shot, & the Dons are gunna be undermanned.

Anyone thought about dredging the Port river,
Macca is probably blaming himself for the choke on friday night as his prediction of the games result has come home to roost, if he is still around i will look forward to his predictions for this weeks games, ;)

Maybe he is down at Alberton Oval staging a hunger strike until Port wins a final, I was thinking the same thing myself, and if we dont win this week I will be joining him. :D

He may have gone missing with South Australia's other Macca.

I saw him on Thursday and Friday nights, including AFTER the game, so no need to panic Port fans. He told me he wouldn't be able to get on here until at least today, so I'm sure he'll show up soon.

That's not to say he wasn't disgusted with the match! He was fairly steaming after the game...but I was pretty happy! Especially after the copious amounts of alcohol I consumed in celebration.

Doubt that would ever happen, but he might be more likely to try running down some of the people already on the collingwood bandwagon.

Dreamkillers has also disappeared since he came down to Adelaide.
They are not still drowning their sorrows are they?

Or perhaps they are down at training getting ready to put on a Power guernsey to ensure we achieve our first ever finals win?:D :D

That's a damn fine idea. Maybe we should all show our loyalty by sharing some sacrifice with the players, such as giving up alcohol until Port win a final. Giving up food might be a bit too risky

I know Tredders is over in SA as well, seems he has gone missing, wonder whether him and DK are having trouble finding a coputer or if they are just too shattered to say anything?

BTW where the F**k is Macca? Someone said he'd be back by now. Things are a little quite without those three about.

I think Macca has decided to take last weeks choke upon himself & that Tredders & Dreamkiller have gone awol in sympathy,

Maybe the 3 of them have headed back to Darwin by camel just taking the long slow haul back in time ,;)

MAybe they have just decided to walk to Brisbane for next weeks game, they are that confident that we will beat Essendon that they just want to make sure they get to Brisbane.

BTW if we win is anyone else here going up, I know i will, we went up last year (me & Tredders#16) and we had a blast even though we lost.

No chance of going to Brisbane, and if the game is on Saturday afternoon, I wont even be able to listen to it on the radio.

What time is it scheduled to be played? (Am very ****y we will win against the Bombers, wasn't so sure against Collingwood).

That is meant to be (ocky.

Okay mystery solved! Macca is computerless at the moment, and Dreamkillers has limited access to the net and is understandably busy catching up with friends and family. No doubt we will hear from them soon.

From speaking to some of the off-field people at the club they generally think it will be a night game. Either Friday night again or Saturday night. Last time we played a final up there it was Saturday night, it would be my preferred option as well. Surely with Collingwood in the Prelim already they will get the Friday night game or they will play on the Saturday afternoon rather than Saturday night.

In the program it says games for that week can be played on the Friday or Saturday but not Sunday.

Any game in Brisbane will be a night game due to the heat concerns.

Perhaps it will be late Friday night!

I would love to go next weekend but I have to make an emergency trip up to Sydney later today, which is costing me a small fortune. I hope the game goes well tonight and all those of you on this board who are going cheer hard for me and have an enjoyable time. I will be back late monday so I probably won't post here until Tuesday afternoon.

Go Port!

Hope it isn't anything too serious. Bad luck about missing the game, hope you can find a TV up there with it on. C U Tuesday, hopefully with a smile on your face! Otherwise if we lose i reckon it may take a lot of us til atleast Tuesday before we recover.

I've spoken to Macca and DK today. They are both going to the game tonight, as am I.
I'm hoping to shatter my jinx and see a winning result tonight.

If anyone wants to catch up, drop me a PM and i'll give you my mobile#. You have until 5.30 to catch me here.

Will be heading back to the club tonight, well in all likelyhood. Cant meet up before as i doubt whether with the start time it gives me much time to get organised and to get there.

hehe, what a funny thread :D :D

No i did not starve myself at Alberton until we win a final, nor did i go alcohol-less (thank god for that). Nor i did not drown in the Port River (thought about it tho).

My computer kept on semi-dying the last few weeks so i decided to get a new hard drive. Was meant to get the computer back on Monday, but cos it is so bloody old (4 years or so) then the processor couldnt recognise anything over 10G drive (i wanted 80G drive), so i had to wait till a new processor came in. SO now i got a new Celeron 1700 with 80G drive and a new burner too cos that strangely died as well.

So im back. Does seem very very dodgy but i dont care :p

By the sounds of things it seems like i missed out on a lot of fun.
Probably lucky i had no computer last week....probably would of got myself banned!

Saw Tredders after the footy, we went back to the club. He's back in Adelaide for a while and doesn't have access to a computer where he is staying, so he may be out of action for a while.
