Saw Kevin Sheedy on Channel 7 this arvo on their show Sportswatch. He looked awfully relaxed, like he was satisfied with the teams performance so far this and anything past this point was a bonus. As we all know, in finals we need all the luck we can get, good luck that is not bad. With Lloyd hurt, Hird injured and Fletcher undisciplined, the wheels are looking shakey.

This week you have to travel to the city if churches where the stakes will be at their highest. Power are a good team, a very good team, and last fridays loss to the maggies will be a nice reality check to them. Cant see them losing 2 home finals in a row, and with the Dons not at full strength, it could get ugly over there.

6 weeks ago, it looked the Bombers were going to miss all the September action, they now into the final 6, all in all not a bad result, which explains Sheeds relax nature.

There's some truth in that post by Wrath. Given our season of injuries and poor form, to be still alive in the second week of the finals is a pretty good result.

Nevertheless, Port will underestimate the bombers at their peril.

i agree, given the catastrophic list of injuries we had in the regular season, to get this far is an achievement, and anything after this is a huge bonus

I think we are going to find out that losing to Collingwood was the last straw for Port. They are going to be men possessed when they play us.
