I think Big Brother has just go away factor at the moment so bringing it back right away seems like a bad idea to me.
They should bring it back. Have it bomb and cancel it after 3 weeks. At least this way it will be dead for good.

yeah they could do a bigger celeb version with more desperate characters willing to bare their soul to a national audience to get their face on the tv.
It's how it ended up in the UK IIRC.
We'll probably see the concept again down the line but it should take a few years off to freshen up.

Even if it's not on next year, it will be one of those shows that will be revived in a few years or decades' time. Similar to the revival of the Colliwobbles tag after their defeats in the 2002 and 2003 AFL Grand Finals.
