Well done to Roger James, the little nuggety, boofy haired champion, 100 AFL games coming up for this weekend. Over the past two months he has really come on in leaps & bounds. Now is starting to be regarded as one of our premier on ballers.

Hopefully he has another good one in his 100th for the Power.

Funny how its the long-time fringe players that really seem to rack up the games

Yes i was suprised that Rog will chalk up his 100th game this week. In fact when i read it i even double checked it as i was pretty sure that he hadn't played that many.

Can anyone remember which game was his first, I know it was in 1997 as he played 17 games that year in our first year in the AFL. It wasn't the first game v Collingwood but i can't recall which game it was. I remember him playing a pretty good game in Rd 12 v Bulldogs in which we made that great comeback and i think he kicked a couple that day, but he must of made his debut a number of weeks early. Does anyone know for sure?

Dewy is another who is coming up to his 100th, remember his debut was in 1997 v WCE in Perth, the only game he played that year. His 100th would be the GF if we make it!

Roger had his first game against Brisbane in Round 5 of 1997 at Football Park.

That game can be best remembered for Stephen Paxmans great effort in getting between two players and tapping the ball to the boundary when it looked a certainty that Brisbane were to kick a late goal, the Power ended up winning by 2 points.

An inspiration to those with boof hair everywhere. Well done and starting to show everyone what he's capable of with a bit of ground-time.

i couldn't think of a more dedicated guy to his role in the side with accepting the fact that he was going to be used on and off the bench over the years and in my view this is the best year he's ever had with the power, especially the last 8 weeks along with francou has been our best player, congrats Roger!!!!!!
P.S who got the better deal, roger james at port, or brett james at the crows, i'll let u figure that one out :)

One of the most magic moments in our AFL history. It is that launch into the air that I will remember him by!

Depends because Roger has played longer but Brett played in 2 premierships. Although Brett played over 100 games for Collingwood and Adelaide!

But well done Roger!

I'd take Roger in a second, Brett's skills simply aren't in the same class as Roger's. Beside Roger's best is still in front of him and he will only get better with more experience.
