Yeah i would to.I think its a bit hard on members and supporters not signing or giving anyy indication before going on a trip away.Now all of us sit here wondering.as if the year hasn't been hard enough.we've lost chick and now we sort of don't know where crawf stands.Honestly if he left I'd burn glenferrie down or do something.He should of just signed right away why would he hesititae if he wasn't THINKIN about going somewhere else.This is really upsetting.

Hi guys,
Dont let the Crawford thing upset you. You can rest assure that the reasons he hasnt signed has little to do with him personally. My gut feeling is that his contract will be the most complicated in the club, thus requiring the greatest amount of detail. The club is most likely doing further investigations etc to meet his needs. he will end his career at the Hawks and will sign a new 3 year deal in two weeks. Our Captain will be not be leaving.

Cose if he does go, that is the end for me..I know the club is supposed to be bigger than the individual, but Crawford basically is the club at the moment.
If he goes, the club will slowly crumble. With all the internal squabbling, this is the last thing the club needs.

He was in Ballarat on Monday. That's when I spoke to him and I have his mobile number. He has gone to visit his mum

His Number 1 priority is to captain Hawthorn to a premiership...
He won't go to Collingwood, how could they afford him?

a few feelow hawks i know seem to think that part of the reaso why Buckenara and Moore were sacked was because Crawf didnt want them there anymore :confused:

thats a tricky question for a few reasons.
1. Its hard from the outside to know what impact they have had, who they have worked on and what strategies were theirs.
2. our forward line didnt kick enough goals and our backline, let too many through. so they were clearly problem areas.
3. i doubt Crawf would put such an ultimatum to the club
4. They were possible 'old thinking'
5. not sure of the merits of always stacking the coaching panels with old hawthorn players
either way new blood shouldnt hurt.
