Who here likes the Vines? It's amazing how fast this Aussie band has shot up to glory...they've already been on Letterman and the VMA's, and they will be on Rove next week so check them out.

They played at the VMA's, played right after the Hives in a "Hives vs. Vines" set, but I think anyone who saw it would agree that the Vines punished The Hives.

Highly Evolved is a top album, they seem incredible live and have already been compared not to the Strokes and the Hives but to Nirvana and The Beatles:eek:

I can see a huge future for The Vines....

In my very humble opinion, vastly overrated.

They sure are xxFC.

The Hives are a class above, but like I keep on saying, if you like this type of music, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club eat 'em all for breakfast!

I had to sit through Rove to watch mates of mine play (CrashPalace) the other week and it was an hour of my life I want back. Don't rate the show at all!

I like The Vines but from what I've seen and heard, Craig Nicholls' vocals are awful live.

I don't really like either of them. They both scream all the time.
If I had to choose it'd be the Hives.

Yep, Rove's taken the mantle of boring, unamusing twat vacated by Daryl Somers ... he's a Daryl Somers wannabe, which is something I'm astounded anyone would aspire to!
