Hope we can win it for him.

That ankle aint looking too good at this stage. He should come through but you never know at Essendon.

Copped a big knock on his hand as well.

Will be there.
His career has been underrated IMO.
Fitting it's at the Dome too. He loves it. Deserves nothing less than a win and a bag.
I hope we can repeat the scoreline of his first afl game,
which was also against Adelaide and win by 104 points,
if my memory serves me correctly.
883 goals and still climbing
100+ goals twice
5 time All Australian
3 time Coleman Medalist
Highest ever goal scorer for the E.F.C
8th highest goal scorer in VFL/AFL history
3rd youngest player to reach 700 goals in VFL/AFL history
4th youngest player to reach 800 goals in VFL/AFL history
10 time Essendon yearly goal kicker (soon to be 11)
Premiership player
Jim Stynes Medalist
Essendon captain
= Champion
I'm looking forward to being there and screaming my lungs out for the skipper.
Has always carried himself with class and doesn't get the recognition he deserves from opposition supporters. Jealousy is a curse I guess.
I'm sure it'll be a fantastic moment for him, especially running out with his little daughter and nephews and nieces :)

Thanks for the stats. I remember last season he and Richo were about neck and neck for total goals at the G. Is he in front? He must be miles ahead of anyone else at the Dome.

Congrats to the skipper. He has had a great career to date and looks set to break the 1000 goal mark by careers end. Lets hope he can recreate the form he did against Melbourne.

Vast, sorry to be a know-it-all but we won by 122 points and Salmon kicked 8 and Lloyd 3. I remember the result vividly becuase my uncle gave me the chance to go to the game or go see Batman Forever.
Needless to say Jim Carrey's performance as the Riddler wasn't all that bad.

I will be going. I actually did not know it was his 250th. Do you think there will be a bigger turnout because it is lloyds 250th? 45K?

I'll be there for sure. I expect about 45k for Lloydy's 250th and Paddy and Slatts 50th. Only thing that might prevent that is the loss against West Coast. But our crowd numbers, whether winning or losing, have been outstanding this season. A credit to the supporters!

I'm sure Lloydy will be up for this one, always finds a way to get himself up for the big matches and dominate them convincingly. Is a legend of the game and at the minimum deserves a good milestone game. Hope we can give the Crows a good spanking..! ;)

Champion. Looking forward to the day he slots # 1000.
250 games isn't even a real milestone  That's what I learned on my trip to the Adelaide board just now. Also learned that there's nothing wrong with a father boinking his daughter....pride of South Australia indeed.

No worries.
God I hope we win this week though. Would make next week very fun indeed. :D
One of the best full forwards ever to play the game. Not sure if he can reach the 1,000 goal mark. He would have to play at least 2 to 3 more years.
Made his debut against us (Adelaide). Me as an Adelaide fan I'm not very confident we will win this weekend, never have beaten you guys in VIC. I think you guys will get up, just.
