i have just checked out the power site and unfortunately we've come away with a couple of injuries :(
Peter Burgoyne has an ankle injury
Wangas has a groin injury but i think that with these two they have been carrying these injuries over the last couple of weeks
it's also listed that adam kingsley has re done his hamstring!!!!!
BLOODY HELL! :(
one good thing is that Wakes would be a good chance to play against brissy :)

Hopefully peter and wangas will be ok, kingers will be gone for the rest of the year probably and hopefully wakes comes in for kingers.
i heard that roger james got injured is this true????
Well fantastic win by the guys, every one of them stood up last night and should be proud of themselves, basically we've got nothing to lose against Brissy all the pressure will be on brisbane to win so as long as they try their hardest against brissy then i will be proud of them no matter what happens!!!
CMON GUYS!!!!!! :D

Do you think the pressure felt by supporters matches that of the players? We were talking at the bar and we thought hell, we don't feel anywhere near as nervous tonight, the pressure was less, we either lose and its over or we win and the other misery is suddenly over too

To draw out the analogy, I have less worries about next week. Everyone who is not a Port die-hard thinks we have no chance. That just feels better tahn being told your are dead set certainties.

It's a new game and if we can put the pressure back round for once.

Yep, we love being the underdog.

As far as injuries go, Wanga & Burgoyne will play almost 100% sure. Kingers will certainly struggle. Wakes probably will play also.

Cassisi is the smokey IMO, their was a bit of talk about him last night at the club. Is he playing for Westies tomorrow, if he plays well he could really be a good chance to get back in.

Roger James got taken out by Bolton in a head-high charge that he was reported for. He spent most of the game away with the pixies but came back on in the last quarter and didn't look to have any ill-effects. If it's still on the website on Wednesday I'd worry about it then.

Aparently (according to Channel 10:rolleyes: ) Kingers has a "corked" knee. He may be OK then but still would be the most doubtful IMO.

Dom played today. I'm pretty sure he got the most possessions for Westies, or somehwat close to it. Westies kinda didn't win tho *looks heartbroken*.

Didn't catch much of it on the radio, but did hear that Koula didn't play. From the few minutes i caught here and there Cassisi seemed to be getting a lot of the ball for Westies and Cicolella (sp?) was playing pretty well for the Eagles.

Westies got ****in flogged. 12 goals to none up till 1/2 time. Blowing a freakin gale to the Southern end. ****house day, ****house result. Dom would have been one of the least worst for Westies.

Exactly.

And Mark McKenzie got his foot stomped on in the first quarter after kicking a goal and didn't look too good for a while, but recovered well enough to finish the game.

Not a good day... *looks heartbroken*

Dom had 24 touches and was probably Westies best.

24 touches, pretty good, won't do his selection chances any harm for the Brisbane game. Shame for Guerra that he didn't get a game (i'm assuming he didn't) this week, could possibly work against him for this weeks selection.
