Taken from AFL lists . . .

B: C.Johnson, S.Paxman, B.Hart
HB: D.Ward, B.Holland, J.Blakey
C: R.Warfe, T.Johnstone, D.Kickett
HF: J.Barker, J.Brown, S.Clayton

Foll: M.Primus, M.Pike, L.Power
Inter: B.McDonald, S.Prestigiacomo, J.Molloy, F.Gehrig

Coach: P.Roos

Alright, alright! :D There's a bit of embelishment there, as not only have I included previously listed Roys, but I've included players who would have played with Fitzroy under the father-son rule, as well as those with "Royboy relatives" (some are more distant than others!), as well as those who stated a desire to player for Fitzroy, or supported them as a child.

Previously Listed Fitzroy Players:
A.Lynch
J.Blakey
M.Primus
C.Johnson
S.Paxman
M.Pike
J.Barker
J.Molloy
S.Clayton
R.Warfe
D.Kickett
D.Ward
B.Holland

Fitzroy Players under Father-Son Rule:
J.Brown ('The Guvna')

Players with Fitzroy Relatives:
T.Johnstone
F.Gehrig
B.McDonald
M.Picken

Players who supported Fitzroy as a Child:
M.Lloyd
B.Hart
L.Power
S.Prestigiacomo

Ah well, no harm in dreaming, eh?! ;) :D

Of course though, I didn't need to stretch the equation in order to find a true, bona-fide champion Royboy for coach! :)

I realise that your including a lot of players that wern't even on your list, but I was just wondering wasn't Ward on Fitzroy's reserves list and not on the senior list?

D.Ward was on our rookie list in 1996. Likewise, B.Holland was also drafted by Fitzroy, and was on our list in 1995, but refused to play for us (the bastard!).

yeah i agree i never liked Holland after he wasted up a number on our list and a high draft pick for a year and never showed and then left for richmond, so im not a big fan of him.

Actually Zanotti did the same the next year as well, never played but wasted up a number on our already depleted list.

Probably ended up being a good thing though . . . seeing as it was one less player to pay! ;)

Great team Stocka. An embarrassment of riches.
I don't see any problem in highlighting any connection to Fitzroy, however tenuous it may be.
