Congratulations to Matty on 250. Shame the boys didn't get the result and put in the effort that was necessary to get the points.

Not going to stick up for him too much, but as a whole the team were horrible and I honestly found it hard to give anyone votes. Mcphee was better in the second half when he was pushed to half back, and his first half was dogged from poor delivery, either way over his head or to 5 metres in front of him. He didn't do TOO badly in my opinion, I've only seen the game live and haven't seen how it looked on TV, but seemed to run when no one else was willing. Just my opinion, only one vote, no one else deserved it in my opinion.

Well done Pev. Hope he plays for another 3 years. I hope he doesn't retire because he's one of the few players who deserves a spot in the team ATM.

&: Dyson, Hille, Mal, Laycock + Nash.

Stanton & Watson were pretty average and infective today, either of them were looking ahead of the play at all, they were pretty much just racking up the touches really. Mucking around too much, either wanted to finish the situation.

As for Nash, he's a bit of a soft-****, was effective with his disposal but his effort for the first half going in for contests was really very average, I absolutely hate it when him and Stanton NEVER tackle the upcoming player, they just run along the opponent giving them a good 3 metres of space to work off, very frustrating to watch.

Not surprising we got smashed, had to work with 2 men on the bench for a good while, then finally had no bench for some bit of the last quarter, no much you can do in a situation like that, Dempsey though was a huge loss...

I'm not looking forward to having to watch Laycock as 1st string ruckman next week.

yeah, I was at the game too. It was tough to find good players. One quality which McPhee possesses, which a few other un-named softies in the team don't, is pride. When he has screwed up (today that was alot) he always gets really pumped and tries to make a mense.

I fully agree.

I am a Peverill fan because he always gets in there and gives it his all.

Against the crows he even seemed to have more pace and room to run (bar Lovett) than many others.

I say give him another year for sure.
